This brief was a follow-up to an earlier brief – Identify and Online Brand. In this brief, we are now supposed to radicalise the online presence of the same Online Brand that we worked on earlier. In my team’s case it was Dropbox, the online cloud-storage service. Also, we had a new addition to our already powerful team – Eunice.Under this brief, we are suppose to totally radicalise the existing online presence of the online brand. In my understanding, not just its advertising campaign, but it can be its core function too. So, that’s what I headed out to research. We were supposed to present a 2 minute pitch for this, much like an elevator pitch, but my part of the presentation got too long and exceeded 10 minutes. So, here I’ll try to be as precise as possible, to keep it short, as it should have been.

Radicalising Dropbox

Dropbox already does a wonderful job of keeping your files safe, accessible and shareable. What more can we ask for?

What if it is not limited to just Digital domain? If it could come to our physical world and keep our physical things/belongings safe. Not only physical products, but the services that we opt for.

That just opens up a new door for so many ideas. Some of the ideas that I have for Dropbox was that it could keep a complete inventory of your things, and be an online shop too where all the online sellers come on the same platform and compete with each other. Moreover, it can be your security watch (like immobilise.com). It can also be your personal accountant and do budgeting for you. And there are many more things that I can think of.

What ideas can do you think of?
