With my start of the session at UCA, we had the privilege to go to Shoreditch Triangle in London, during the London Design Festival. Our tutors Brian and Sue don’t leave anything to chance. They wanted us to grab this opportunity, so there I was exploring the city of London with my classmates. I saw many studios, cafes, streets there. The most influential for me was the street art there. I believe it will always be my idea of London as its my first impression of London.

The street art at Shoreditch Triangle and the areas near it doesn’t look like graffiti to me at all. It feels like that people are proud to have such beautiful artwork on their walls. It almost feels like the owners of those properties pay the prominent artists to paint graffiti on their walls. I didn’t see any signature left by any artist below their artwork, but there was a style of work that continued in several pieces, so to say.
